- Sanyo DSR-C100H80 1.5 Mega-Pixel Digital Recording Camera with Built-in 80GB Hard Disk Drive
- This product is a local area network (LAN) connection kit for linking a Sanyo digital recording camera to a computer network. It includes a hardware adapter and a CD-ROM with both updating software for the camera and an application program for the computer. By updating the camera firmware and establishing the network, your existing computer will have extra capabilities for backup recording, displaying a live action window on your monitor and for remotely controlling the camera’s recording functions. Because the system uses the FAT 32 file system data storage structure, data from the camera’s hard disk can be read like a removable disk when linked to the computer with a USB connection. - Digital camera and a hard disk recorder in one. DSR-C100 combines a 1.5 million pixel digital camera and a 10.2 GB hard disk recorder in one unit. This means that the task of making high quality recordings with digital-to-digital signal processing is completed within the unit without degradation associated with analog conversion.
- Its 1360 x 1024 pixel high definition images (equivalent to 900 TV line horizontal resolution*) make it possible to record distinctive features of people’s faces.

- Thanks to further improvements in SANYO’s high-speed image processing circuit, already highly valued in consumer digital cameras, DSR-C100 is capable of recording SXGA images (JPEG compression) as fast as three frames/sec
- With SXGA image recording, it is possible to zoom in on small objects and examine details. An original image can be enlarged up to 1000% (10X) in increments of 10% (with application software). In addition, up to 21X digital zoom is available on the video output
- DSR-C100 comes with two recording modes: alarm recording (pre-alarm / post-alarm) and suspicion recording. An exclusive recording area is created for each recording mode on the hard disk
- Multi-spot photometry (64-section) backlight compensation
